I know Ive done this before but I can't work out how I did it and I havn't used Ableton for a long time.
I want to insert a clip (wav) onto a MIDI channel, so I can change the notes on the keyboard.
I think I had to arm the channel and then play the clip on my computer keyboard, then I could copy ...

Ah let me see if I can help. I have an M-audio Axiom 49 with aftertouch on its keys, and yes aftertouch can be used to control parameters in live. One thing that seems to work is to hold down the key you are going to use to activate a parameter with aftertouch *before* clicking the midi assign ...
