I also paid full price for Ableton 8 suite and should not have to pay so much just for a buffer shuffler, midi lfo and sequencer. Cool toys for sure but not cool that previous paid suite owners get the shaft.

Currently you have to work at the tempo you will end up at and warp the loop to be sliced to the tempo first, then you freeze and flatten that clip. Then you slice it and it will fit the tempo you warped it at.

IMO software will never replace hardware like this. While you can basically launch stuff using the launchpad with your eyes closed you'll never be able to pull that off with a touchscreen.

The Back cueing/scratching reversing limitation of Live clips turned me off completely. The possibility of scratching Live clips was the thing I was hoping for and the main reason for getting exited about the Bridge. Well unfortunately the Bridge doesn't deliver in this department.

I had fun with both Amp and Cabinet. Got a piano sounding like a crunchy guitar up on a stage. Some cool tricks can be done with cabinet and beats to drop them to sounding like beats from the next room then back to normal, some uses for sure.

They should have busted out The Bridge in the same way they just busted out Amp, a little surprise "here you go". Would have gotten a way warmer reception and the expectations wouldn't be as high.

I tried the other day to run beats with my apc while I played synth from logic and the apc would play notes in logic when I tried to use it to switch parts in live.
This is no good. How can I change the midi channel the apc is sending on or get it to only work in live while my keyboard controls logic?
