i believe pads on the axiom can be mapped to have momentary control, and the keys have an adjustable aftertouch.s the after touch on axiom for the pads or keys as well? Most of my pads on the axiom are broken anyway...

THANK YOU!!!! This is my new favorite post on the ableton forum. THIS saved me so much time and energy. I owe you big time. I was almost ready to go and track down a new trigger finger after mine broke. i really like the construction of the mpd24 and now i get to keep it.

I am having the same problem with the mpd24. I need to be able to have velocity sensitive control over fx in ableton. Unlike the trigger finger and the padkontrol you can not change the signal that the mpd sends to do anything other than toggle fx parameters. which is super lame.
