Ok, so this wouldn't be Ableton exclusive; there'd have to be a bit of cross-talk going on between developers; but I'd like to drag MIDI clips from the Session and Arrangement Views of Ableton into the Logic Pro arrangement window.

It's ok!! I've sorted it now.

For reference, it was a conflict solved by turning off the Remote MIDI sync on the output of an IAC Driver. It all works hunky dory now.
