Live is going haywire with 25SL and Ableton Mode! HELP!

Hi,

This is an issue I'd like resolved by a fellow Novation SL MkII series user, but any advice would be a great help.

Firstly, I'll detail my setup: Ableton Live 7.0.18 (can't afford an upgrade yet); SL25 MkII; Automap 3.5. All are fully up-to-date.

Secondly, here is my problem:

In Ableton Mode on my 25SL, I've assigned several of the free row of buttons to the track launch buttons of several channels. When I use the radio buttons on the left-hand side of the 25SL to change to a scene and trigger the track launch using the buttons I've assigned, I am stuck and cannot move any controls or select another channel with the mouse. Meanwhile the clip plays normally, but the playback button on the clip stays highlighted for 5 bars, after which the clip playback is reset, and I am free to navigate again.

Following this, I've found that opening the midi or key maps, pressing the space bar to stop playback, and selecting the right-hand radio buttons on the 25SL may restart playback instantly until the clips have finished the 5-bar cycle mentioned above.

Can somebody please tell me what is going on?

It's ok!! I've sorted it now.

For reference, it was a conflict solved by turning off the Remote MIDI sync on the output of an IAC Driver. It all works hunky dory now.
