live8 very slow drawing audio waves for tracks in arrangement view when opening live set....
Hello all,
I have 10+ tracks of recorded audio and each track is fairly long (~ 1 hour).
When I open the live set ( using 8.1.5 ), it takes a dramatically long time for the arrangement view to draw the ...

I'm seeing the same problem with an MP3 that I recorded with my H4 handheld recorder. I have done this dozens of times with no problems. The MP3 plays correctly in WMP and iTunes, plus I have used iTunes to convert it to WAV, AIFF....still no luck.
I'm using Live 8.0.5......any ideas anyone ...

Is there a way to fully automate the process of selecting just the right preset sound?
what I do now is:
- record a short midi sequence into a session view clip slot and start it looping
- drop in an instrument preset and select hot-swap
- *** manually step through a set of presets hot ...

I would also like to be able to do this... I routinely pull in a recording of my band's recent gig or practice. I use the "split" feature in live to separate the long recording into pieces. But, then have to select each one individually and "export".
