Re: LiveControl: Automap for TouchOSC (ipod/ipad)
GREAT app , good work
Have everything working here on win 7 64 bit with iPad and Iphone, but have no labels at all on clips or mixer channels..
presumably nothing at all is arriving FROM ableton, I am only sending data?
anything obvious I may be missing?
cheers

Re: Follow Arrangement arrow
Pitchblack.
yes its been an interesting lerning curve from Protools to here I must say.
My current thoughts are, great for workflow making tracks , but not so great on the arrangement page for mixing those tracks.
I actually mixed my last track back in protools after exporting from Live (is there ...

Re: Bar numbers in edit window

hmm I understand what you say, but I dont really want to consolidate the region necessarily , if Im say moving chorus parts around for example and want to easily see where they start and end .
Oh well.. just another ableton vs Protools difference I need to get used ...

Re: Follow Arrangement arrow
hmm
thats very odd ..seems such a basic requirement!
Whoever decided to make it drop out when anything was focused on must have been not thinking at all !
Latch follow to be added to desired feature list then - how crazy its not already there!
many thanks

Follow Arrangement arrow
Hi all
is there any way to permanently follow the arrangement ?
every time I do an edit, the follow arrow key at the top drops to off, and I keep having to switch it on...very annoying.
So to sum up, how do I make the arrangement page permanently stay in sync with what I am hearing when zoomed in ...

Send groups to a subgroup
Hi all ...
if I have several tracks already grouped into kicks, snrs hats etc, how do I then send all these groups to a new group track (say called drums) so I can have control over ALL of the drum groups at the same time.
Its something Im used to in Protools , but the option doesnt seem to exist ...

Right click the Live desktop shortcut , and go to compatibilty tab
I had mine set to Vista (service pack 2) (and run as administrator)

Re: Recording Bus level Automation..HELP !!!
Not done any critical listening as yet , though people have spent YEARS arguing about protools mixing/summing and whether it was perfect or not :_) Lets put it this way, for most music consumption I would defy anyone to tell the difference ..many blind listening tests have been done for the "golden ...

Re: Recording Bus level Automation..HELP !!!
LOL I can see why it may look a bit odd :-)
I have used PT from day 1 (before it even was called protools) I am a producer and writer mainly involved in pop music witha lot of pretty hefty sessions to record and mix , and for me protools excels at this type of work.Particularly the audio and mixing ...
