I was using Live 8, specifically which version I'm not sure, as I just updated yesterday to 8.2.1.

When I was testing, I deleted the plugins that were there to eliminate that factor.

Okay I just want to point out that I figured out an alternative solution. I first ungrouped the tracks, deleted the unnecessary ones, and regrouped.

So it's not so urgent, but the bug does remain.

I have a group track, called "All Vox."

Deleting a track from within this group, causes the group track to bug out. If I had to describe it, it looks like the umbrella group track partially goes underneath the first track within the group. There is a bit of grey space also above the umbrella group ...
