although 2gig is the maximum you can have, in a mac book. I would say its the MINIMUM you need also.

I have stripped mine down to the bare minimum processes running, and it uses 447mb of RAm and is just sitting idle If i load up live it can some time use anotherGIG depending on the project ...

Er, no . If you've got earthing issues sort them out properly. Lifting the earth to non-isolated equipment is a recipe for electrocution and electrocution will kill you. Dont Do It . .

No comparison. The MCU is a great bit of kit (but better with an added C4 and extender!) and is a decent usable size. The SL Zero is mini and more fiddly with no motorized faders or the transport, shuttle, cursor keys and other UI controls that ...

Obvious question, but do you have the audio inputs enabled in the Audio IO setup preferences? Try ignoring live and monitoring via CueMix and see if you can monitor the Mic input. Also, try using and XLR->Jack plug the same cable into a jack input and boosting it to check the cables working etc ...

I just started going to the gym 3-4 times a week in the morning before work and kept out of pubs where people smoke for a while. Seemed easy enough believe it or not... (I had been smoking for 15 years ish.)
