When you click on a clip in Live 5 it shows you the clip at the bottom of the screen. However when you active a clip with my UC33 controller it does not do this, I have to click on the track with my mouse to show the clip.. very annoying

I download straight from DJ download and Beatport. I listen to each track and adjust its volume until it stops clipping the master. Then I bring it into my Ableton set where I have my setup.

This one is for DJs. I am sure with all the battles you come up with other DJs that wont accept Ableton and slam it as geeky and not the same as a DJ that mixes on CD or Vinyl.

Be able to assign mutiple loops in any one track and then to have a loop button on the mixer (aswell as on the properties of the track) so that you can assign a midi button to it to turn looping on and off.

I want to record my Live DJ session but I am wondering how. I was using Super Mp3 recorder to record all other stuff and when I used to play on Decks but it does not seem to work well with Live. I am using an Audiophile Firewire but also have an internal sound card.

Exactly! I have downloaded them and when I ply them I have to set the volume half way. It begins to clip any higher! I have downloaded other stuff from the internet and the same happens.

Ok. I have been recording my vinyl into Live. I have set the bass, middle and treble to 0db on the mixer and adjusted the Gain on the mixer until I see it clipping in Live and then just turn it down a notch.

Tried the sends. When I turn the send up to volume is also turned up. I have put the effect on the send.
It is far too loud. How do I solve this. Also what is the purpose of the return?

Took your advise and it works great. I have both the Eq3 setup and the Eq4 assigned to 1 knob on the controller.

All I need to do now is to figure out he sends.
