..just got an email from Ableton saying I have reached my Unlock Authorisation Limit despite only ever using one DAW for Live 8. Could it have anything to do with Live crashing, corrupting my projects and then losing its entire configuration including licensing information? Very frustrating ...

Hi all - VERY frustrating 8 wasted hours today. Im running Live 8.0.9 on a 4 processor/4Gb DAW (a Direct Solutions DARC system) which is as clean as is humanly possible.

Track details:
-approx 20 tracks
-everything is either audio or frozen
-no clips are flagged as being in RAM
-only working on two ...

Hi all - are the 3 compressors bundled with Live the same? I know only I and II can have sidechaining but I cant find any information about their actual sound/characteristics. Are they different?

I don’t think you will find any noticeable difference in a set of NS10s when using a 3k amp. If you have 3k to spend you will get considerably more gains from upgrading to set of actives.
