Yeah what is going on here? I have the same sends issue. Also when I record automation....Drum Racks records me moving between device views AS automation. But this cannot be undone as far as I can tell and is definitely not a "feature" of Live.... Drum Racks is in on crack right now!

Velocity is not working for any samples in Drum Racks. All Simplers have Vel activated at 50% (I've tried everything above 0%) and get no change. When I alter note velocities in the midi editor they essentially turn off or play at 127.

Any ideas? I'm a bit stuck.

Hi,

All of my non-grouped tracks suddenly have greyed-out track selectors and will not produce sound when selected or soloed. If I group them they will play back when the group is soloed ( not simply when the group is enabled, it must be soloed.) Restarting and/or the BTA button does not fix this ...

Anyone else get the error message "this is not a valid session file" when setting PT as their sample editor and trying launch it from clip view?

I have PT 10 on Mac OSX 10.6.8 with Ableton 8.27 and I've set PT up in Preferences as the sample editor app.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated ...

i'm not trying to drag the pad. i'm wondering why dragging is necessary and cmnd + c is not possible. my hand is pretty exhausted from the dragging, i.e. dragging is a major drag.

Copy/paste does work when I use ctrl+ drag but is there really no more efficient way to do this?
Most of the posts I could find were pretty old ....so perhaps I'm missing some new improvement?

a) when i try to save and specifically name a plug-in setting, i right click "rename" then i rename, but Live ignores the renaming and reverts to a generic name (i.e. "ring mod")....giving me a list of plug-ins with the same name which are different.
