Allen & Heath Xone 62 integration with Ableton
Hi all,
Fairly new to Live, wanting to use my Xone 62 routed through an Audio 8 to DJ with. All music coming from the laptop. I want it set up so that Ableton registers eq changes from the mixer, which is not midi.

Cool, I'll try the send return route. I knew there was a simple answer. Cheers.

Live 8 - volume drops when using certain effects, eq's etc..
The last thing I need when I drop, say, a delay over track, is the volume dropping automatically on that track. It doesn't happen visually, the slider stays put, and it's not dramatic but it's audible enough to make things sound dodgy. Any ideas guys?
Thanks in advance, help appreciated.

Re: Ecler NUO 4 Midi mixer supported in Live 8.0.3?
I've had them working in Traktor. You are allowed to choose which type of dial you are assigning to a function in Traktor and rotary is one of the options, so it works perfectly. Apart from that, I'm still at a loss mate. Weird and frustrating.

Re: Ecler NUO 4 Midi mixer supported in Live 8.0.3?
When I assign a rotary dial on the mixer to let's say a "dry/wet" dial in live, and I turn the rotary, the value on the dry/wet jumps straight to 100% and then back to 0% when I turn the rotary the other way. So I can't for example gradually increase the dry/wet of a reverb over my tracks.

Excellent response guys, I'm looking into all the suggestions and more are welcome, especially those along the lines of the E-MU and it's decent priced tag.
Thanks

I need a reliable external sound card to use with Ableton...
I have just given up on my current sound card, a Maya 44 USB. It crashes Ableton after about the 3rd use after install and doesn't recover.
So I need a recommendation for an external usb soundcard with 4 outputs minimum (2 x phono). I'm not a rich man either so any modestly priced recommendations ...
