Live 8 - volume drops when using certain effects, eq's etc..

Post by sureshot111 » Fri Jan 01, 2010 8:11 pm

The last thing I need when I drop, say, a delay over track, is the volume dropping automatically on that track. It doesn't happen visually, the slider stays put, and it's not dramatic but it's audible enough to make things sound dodgy. Any ideas guys?

Thanks in advance, help appreciated.

try setting the dry/wet of the effect to 0%: that'll give you back the full volume ;)

It's the way fx work mate, might be more intuitive for you to put your fx on a return track and send to them, just be careful not to induce clipping that way!

(At least, that would be my guess, might be some random bug ;) )
Some stuff, and some other stuff. Honest.

Cool, I'll try the send return route. I knew there was a simple answer. Cheers.
