Re: Bypassing plugins on master buss
hmmm. yeah that's not working either. Am I the other person that's run into this? really tedious to just keep deleting the plugin off, everytime I want to play a new keyboard part.. especially since I mix with a limiter strapped to the buss. It works pretty well with the stock limiter on there, but ...

Re: Bypassing plugins on master buss
The little circle in the top left corner of the plugin will disable/bypass it. Both of those plugins probably have a bypass switch too.
I know this bypasses them, but the latency remains -- looking for a way to make the plug-in temporarily inactive, like you can in Pro Tools with a key command ...

Bypassing plugins on master buss
I'm using PSP Vintage Warmer and Ozone 4 on the master buss which adds a lot of latency while recording keyboards.. how can you truly bypass the plugin so it avoids the latency, without just removing the plugins?
I'm shocked that this hasn't been a big issue

Live 8 - First crash in 4 years
Been using Live in my shows for the past 4 years with zero crashes, except last night it happened. I'm trying to narrow down what caused it.
The only thing different was that I tried bringing in a 16bit/44k WAV file, whereas I usually just play hi-res MP3s. Also I renamed the file in clip view ...

Re: Richie Hawtin's at it again
I totally agree w/ you.
In fact, I'm planning on taking it one step further and giving people the song for free, in real time, at the show. just working out the technical quirks

Re: Richie Hawtin's at it again
i've been looking for a way to "announce" when I play my new material that you can only hear at shows, other than pointing at the computer and looking excited

Re: Syncing to external clock - ala Prism Orpheus
i'm referring more to the master clock sample rate sync, rather than MIDI. I use the Orpheus as an external clock with Pro Tools and was curious about clocking Ableton to the Orpheus in a live/DJ setting, since it makes such a difference in a desktop studio setup.
p.s. thanks for the kind words!

Syncing to external clock - ala Prism Orpheus
Is it possible to sync Ableton Live to an external hardware clock? is this done with the AudioMidi app or in some more elegant way in Live's preferences?
