Hi,

I'm sampling individual drum hits from records and experiencing quite a bit of floor noise (think that's what it's called!).

I've heard that gates can be used to help get rid of it but are there any other tips people have got?

My first post and I'm sorry to say that I'm pretty rubbish using ableton at the moment!!

I was trying to record straight in in real time to put some scratches on top of a beat but I'm experiencing a latantcy.

Any ideas?
