Re: My MOTU Ultralite Mk3 Review(-ish)
A 99% of the problems of not getting output from the Ultralite are due to the software settings of either your DAW or the CueMix control software. The whole thing is quite mentally challenging, I figured out the CueMix FX is really an onboard mixer but even with every channel set to "MUTE" Ableton ...

Re: MOTU Ultralite and Live - Please help
In my opinion, the easiest way is actually looping back the output resampling and routing it via separate audio tracks in Live.
Too bad the CueMix FX doesn't really have control over the Live output, which is summed right after CueMix.
I'm gonna test the whole thing at rehearsals today. Wish me good ...

Re: MOTU Ultralite and Live - Please help
I thought of that, too.
Resampling *should* be a software patching of the output into the input, so hopefully it should work without instantiating replicas of the track clips.
I just hope nothing fails since we're going live in a week with the new setup...
Thanks for the feedback

Re: MOTU Ultralite and Live - Please help
Hello all.
Concerning Live and Ultralite routing, my need is to send the main out of Ableton Live (actually a playback track) to both the Main 1-2, Analog 1-2 and Phones 1-2 channels. The point is it looks like the audio output of Ableton Live is summed to the Main 1-2 Mix and it doesn't get ...

Re: Issues with MOTU Ultralite Mk3
Hiya mate,
I can't offer any advice myself but I have the 'audio dropout/beeping noise' problem too when I'm working in Ableton.
Seems fine when I'm working with it hooked up to my desktop, but on the laptop this beep can become quite regular.
Please let me know if you find any solutions to it ...

Re: Mojo controller
It's usually wrong thinking that the hardware doesn't cost that much. For small numbers of parts (say, printed circuit boards) it can get pretty pricey. Custom parts, buttons, metal cut cases...they can cost quite a lot. Think how much does it cost to get a Monome and how much a Novation Launchpad ...

Oh well, cool. Makes me wanna play Street Fighter on an old arcade monitor.
Too bad I'd spend that much money on a Lemur. Or a Prophet 08. Or anything else.

Re: NAMM so far... Nothing!
The Mopho Keyboard does look cool. Even if I don't see the point of buying a keyboard version of that when you can control it via midi or USB (that applies to any desktop vs. keyboard synthesizer) - in terms of money. Quite the same as Waldorf Bugfeld and Bugfeld Keyboard. Lots more money for adding ...

Issues with MOTU Ultralite Mk3
I am reporting several issues in this post. I have received the MOTU Ultralite Mk3 Hybrid two days ago, and chose it as the moment to upgrade to Windows 7 (which has proved to perform well on my bandmate's PC together with Ableton Live 8.1, running with the Novation Xio ASIO drivers). I had to do a ...

An Oscilloscope
As old school as it may sound, I'm quite annoyed by dialing in the freeware oscilloscopes available around the net.
I think a good & quite easy feature to implement in the next major release would be an Oscilloscope utility, in order to monitor the sound envelope and have a more scientific approach ...

Re: Synchronize Ableton with Waldorf Blofeld 49 Keyboard
EDIT: I was wrong. There is a quite functional velocity curve selector the same page where the clock can be set. The velocity selector works ok, the clock has the same exact issues you and I are reporting. I suppose Waldorf is working out the "external" mode or a better definition for "auto" ;)
The ...

Re: Synchronize Ableton with Waldorf Blofeld 49 Keyboard
I am a Waldorf Blofeld Desktop owner; I've been trying to put together a clock-synced sound, with synced LFO and clock-delay.
In a word, a nightmare: the unit keeps losing time while repeating a single Ableton midi loop, in addition the clocked delay effect sounds really bad and has mostly no useful ...

Good suggestion, thank you. Might work, a bit paranoid though
