we are aware of the fact that there should be a more convenient way to deal with .asd but there is no really easy solution for this. but i am sure we are able to provide a more satisfying solution for this at some point...

wow, the rest of the content in that article seems to be really good.

imagine being able to right-click a track and choose "create new live set from this track".

i think that would be cool. maybe just me though... =)

also, i know that adding functionality for freezing groups might be difficult because of sends from the individual tracks within the group... but if you just combine the return signals back into the frozen group signal (and disable editing the sends of the individual tracks within the frozen group ...

just sayin...

being able to group and freeze track groups.

it would honestly make Ableton Live twice as valuable to me. it would encourage experimentation and spontaneity. it would reduce CPU. layers and layers and layers!

echoing what a previous user said... we don't need anymore instruments/fx... sure they would be nice, but we've already got 3rd-party plug-ins that can do the job. i'd personally appreciate more resources put into the DAW features that ...

this totally rules

whenever i use Waves plug-ins with Live i always get random crashes (usually when adding/deleting a track or plug-in). anyone else finding this to be the case? it's happening to me on both the VST and AU versions.

I'm running:
Mac OS X 10.5.8
Ableton 8.1.5
Waves Complete 7
