just sayin...
being able to group and freeze track groups.
it would honestly make Ableton Live twice as valuable to me. it would encourage experimentation and spontaneity. it would reduce CPU. layers and layers and layers!
seriously. groups of groups of groups that can be frozen... it's the future of music.
i'm not kidding. i can't even imagine all the crazy shit that we would come up with.
sincerely,
spookynote
i'd pay $500 just to be able to group and freeze groups

Re: i'd pay $500 just to be able to group and freeze groups
also, i know that adding functionality for freezing groups might be difficult because of sends from the individual tracks within the group... but if you just combine the return signals back into the frozen group signal (and disable editing the sends of the individual tracks within the frozen group) it won't be an issue.
i'm guessing you guys have already thought of this, but just i'd mention it in case you hadn't...
