Does the NI Audio Interfaces work well also for Studio recording?

But does it give you a better sound quality rather than plugin your laptop directly to the mixer?

I've been trying to setup some loops to the pads of my AKAI MPK25 pads (to use as an MPC), but I am not figuiring out how to do it.

I tried to play with Impulse or Sampler, but the Loop only works if I press and hold the pad, and it ends when i release it.

Live 8 is pretty expensive but it's definetly a MUST HAVE if you are trying to get serious on production....

I'll go after the MPK25 and the APC-40 for sure.
