Does anyone know why the clip timeline (minute markers) are missing from the bottom of the clip view in Live 8?
Am I missing something?

I used to do the "set 1.1 here, warp from here straight" on the first kick drum, and then align the last kick of the song. this worked like a charm in previous versions of Live, with no need to add multiple warp markers.. now this trick is impossible.

Has anyone run into the issue of BPM fractions? Live 5 auto-warp works beautifully 98% of the time, but there are a few tracks that after proper warping, still ending up at 128.05 or 127.99. And if I try to round off the number, it goes out of sync. This typically happens after I do set 1.1.1 and ...

Just a note: Live 5 played back all my AIFFs in perfect quality, with no coloration, when using repitch - other than the difference in pitch of course.

Great call on using "Re-pitch" - sounds excellent. Never even thought to try this! Now I know it's definitely not the Digi002 or some special setting in Live. I may have to start using this instead of the other modes.

Yeah - I think it all depends on sonic content of the tracks. Some tracks sound almost perfect time-stretched and others (using the same mode) get twisted quite a bit. I wish there was a more straightforward way to optimize the quality of each tracks.. I keep going back and forth between beats and ...
