my attitude is, you cant sing, tough luck, either learn or do something else. people who need pitch correction are taking away attention and record label places from those who can (and they are out there!).

yes, but the point i was trying to make is thats exactly what alot of new acts are, its not that they can songwrite and not perform, its that the fact that they cant do anything!

er, just because something is widely used, dosent make it right, thats like saying we should get nuclear missiles becuase, 'everyone else has them'

autoune is just one of the things, thats killing talent in the industry, many of the greats did very well without autotune, and they didnt sing 100 ...

practicing singing is the best thing you can do, it will develop your voice, if you use auto tune, you will get used to using it, and use it more and more.

there were many great singers before autotune!

use of live 'live' is mentioned here and there but not in detail.

try getting the roland demo dvd and looking at some of the demos, thats more like what we want.

and examples of live used in more genres, show us its not a one trick pony

yeah, thats why i wanted to have a seperate output

i have a consumer md/cd with optical in/out (presumably i can get a converter), but i dont know if you can monitor the inputs
