No you won't see new iMacs all too soon. They will do the portables first. ibook and mac mini is my guess. The new mac mini is supposed to be a replacement for Tivo.

I have a friend who works for Apple and from what I have heard it could be a Wintel G5 mac mini and or a new wintel laptop that is unveiled..I do know its supposed to be a big deal. ;) A wintel G5 mac mini for under say 700 would be pretty sweet! Well I would guess I could find their tempo...or even just use my redsound to find their tempo then go from their but...I pretty much always run at the same tempo..arond 128..so I would have a hard time following someone running much faster than that. The pad idea is a good one. I like it. ;)

I am deciding on an audio interface interface for an iMac G5 and wonder if anyone has any input on this? Thanks AdamyJay, that does help a lot. I will go with a refurb G5 iMac...that should hold me over until the wintel machines come out.
