I agree. Just like learning programs like Photoshop. Everyone starts doing those corny tutorials with the nasty filters. But when you get the hang of it, you'll be able to develop your own style

It sounds a bit messy though, has to do with the volume of the virginti tres track.
I think that if you balance everything out, it definately sounds better. it seems correct though..

It does? I didn't really find a nice distortion setting yet in Ableton, although I'm sure that it is capable of it.

I wasn't really planning to sample my gameboy, why? Because I can't play every note then. Although you can do a lot with transpose. I was more looking for a lo-bat (www.lo-bat.be) type of sound, but without a Little Sound DJ card. Thanks anyway!

Does anyone here have some tips about creating these 8bit gameboy like sounds?
I know it can be done with Little Sound DJ, but is there a way to do it with just Live 5?

And I have another question, for some reason I can't play notes sometimes when I press asdf etc. Why?
