I hit the record icon on the empty clip, it starts recording, but it doesn't then switch the clip display to show what's being recorded. Would love to be able to key map the note Legato button to "L".

You probably know this one, but with selected notes, you can then cmd+drag up and down on a note. That increases/decreases relative velocity of all selected notes.

In arrangement view, currently you can only split at the "insert marker". It's common to want to split during playback at the current position of the playhead. So you're listening along to your arrangement and you'd like to split it up by ear via cmd+e while it's playing. Currently not possible ...

I don't think you quite understand the nature of what's being discussed here... Cmd+click on clips that are offset and you'll see how adjacent clips are also selected. Unusual behaviour for a DAW or indeed most video editing software.

It would be great if sampler/simpler had the warping functionality that clips have (moveable warp points, bpm setting, etc).

CMD+CLICK should select only the clips you've clicked on, not all clips in between.

CMD + SHIFT + D

As far as I can tell, cmd+shift+d and cmd+d do the same thing, but neither work unless the loop brace is already selected. (yet the "duplicate" button works without ...

I crop sections of midi clips all the time and then duplicate them in place.

Someone please explain this to me. Why does disabling "Delay Compensation" then also inactivate the "track delay", so it's grayed out and I can't change it?

I can't understand the reasoning here. I might want to turn off delay compensation but still have the need to set track delays for midi ...

In clip view, the "duplicate" button in "tool panels" duplicates the loop by pressing the duplicate button.

Pressing cmd+d should do the same exact thing in this context, if no notes are selected.

Still a bug. Feel like, on my days using Ableton, I spend half the time googling why something isn't working right. I feel like an idiot upgrading to 11 when I should have just moved on.

This happens on my launchpad pro mk3 as well. But it ALSO happens just by muting with the mouse in the daw.

If you mute a midi track while it's playing a note, then the note hangs. You have to unmute or restart the clip to get it working correctly again.

So it's not unique to a push or other ...
