On one of the other threads in this forum (general) there is a lenghty debate on this where poeple are saying that Live works fine... if you wipe your drive, reformat, and do a clean install of Leopard...

Wow... I a film post pro, and I don't really have the time to re-install the 100+ applications ...

I installed Leopard yesterday, and I could not get Live to even start up... Live does not run on Leopard... This was apparently true for both my PPC G5 and my Intel macBook with Live Version 6.07

I have the same problems with midi latency, except in Pro Tools, not live... I have had several issues bought to my attention about midi latency problems.

Since I installed Pro Tools 7, Live 5 says my Audio interface is off when I select my HD 192 Audio interface for use with Live. And I notice that the Core Audio Icon no longer opens with Live. Live will not even run when this interface is selected.

WHERE???!!!

I want to know if anyone is aware of Live 5 having optimised support for Dual processor computers like the G5... In other words, does live use both processors?

And... for anyone at Abelton... Are there plans for a Live 5 update which will run on Dual Core Quad processor machines, and take full ...
