Since I installed Pro Tools 7, Live 5 says my Audio interface is off when I select my HD 192 Audio interface for use with Live. And I notice that the Core Audio Icon no longer opens with Live. Live will not even run when this interface is selected.
My workaround has been to select the Optical spdif option in PT and choose the optical spdif for input of CH1-2.
Then I connect the Audio Optical output of my G5 to the HD 192 optical spdif input.
Then I select the built in audio as the Live Audio interface, and start Protools, then I start live. If I monitor Live through CH 1-2 of PT I can hear and record live tracks.
One hell of a merry-go-round.
