Thanks for replying.
PC platform, Windows XP, Pentium 3.4, 2MB RAM, 500 Gig hard drive RAID.
I can run Live 4.0.4 but cannot open v4.1.1, v4.1.4, or v5.01 demo. All come up with the same error message (see my original post)
Have tried unstalling and re-installing but without any success ...

Live 5 Demo won't open
I’m considering upgrade to Live 5 from Live 4. Live 4 works absolutely fine.
But the Live 5 demo will not open. At the end of scanning plugins the program displays an error message that includes the information below. Anyone encountered this and found a solution? Ableton support isn't responding ...
