Live 5 Demo won't open

I’m considering upgrade to Live 5 from Live 4. Live 4 works absolutely fine.

But the Live 5 demo will not open. At the end of scanning plugins the program displays an error message that includes the information below. Anyone encountered this and found a solution? Ableton support isn't responding to my email for some reason ...

"Live Message
Internal Program Error
Can’t load “Pointer00.tif, Circ000.tif
“CircleAni” not found
Failed to load graphics file “Circ087.tif"

Hi Clipper,

it looks as if your Live installation would be somehow corrupt.
On which computer platform do you use Live?

Thanks for replying.

PC platform, Windows XP, Pentium 3.4, 2MB RAM, 500 Gig hard drive RAID.

I can run Live 4.0.4 but cannot open v4.1.1, v4.1.4, or v5.01 demo. All come up with the same error message (see my original post)

Have tried unstalling and re-installing but without any success.

Do you need any other info?

Hi Clipper,

ok, let us concentrate on Live 4.1.4.
Please check if the following folder and file exists:
"C:\Program Files\Ableton\Live 4.1.4\Resources\Graphics\CircleAni\pointer001.tif"

Please also send me the log file of Live 4.1.4:
"C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Ableton\Live 4.1.4\Preferences\Log.txt"
