Re: What's The Most Realistic Text To Speech You Ever Used?

This is pretty good. At least I've gotten some usable results:

Re: Mr. Right Now Remix Competition Entry-Progressive-ish

This is a little more clubby than what I usually listen to (so of course I wouldn't know the original, heh), but it's definitely been produced very well. That said, I've just got to the dub step bit and I like that a lot - a nice progression. And the break too, that's cool!

Re: Would this track work in a club setting?

Thanks you all for your feedback - it's really appreciated. Unfortunately I'm not a DJ, but maybe I can get a willing friend! However, I think you guys are right that it would be a good idea just to see how it goes down regardless. >The beat is a bit too syncopated at the beginning. It gets better o...

Re: Deep House

I don't really know much deep house so not sure how helpful I can be! Anyway, nice sounding kick, and the rhodes are cool too. I like the key change about half way through. I might suggest separating the rhodes just a little more from the bass, but that could be a subjective thing, and maybe boost t...

Re: Rock inspired downtempo track - 108bpm - F Minor

This isn't something I'd normally listen to, but it's an interesting piece (in a good way) and certainly something more productive than I'd achieve in 20 hours! I've left a few comments on sound cloud. Out of interest how did you use Launchpad? I keep meaning to program some chromatic/scale selectiv...

Cheers for the listen dude! :) Glad you enjoyed it. On subsequent listens I'm not sure I've over-dialed the bass!

Re: Milky Way - deep hooose

Liked it. It felt distinctly 'classy' to listen to, if that makes sense (and I mean it in a complimentary way :P)!

I don't think there's anything I can add. Mix and balance seem spot on to me.

Some nice stuff here! Really like the moments when it temporarily rocks out, haha. You have created a good balance of sound and progression throughout, and those drums are *just right*.

Would this track work in a club setting?

I've remixed one of my tracks to try and make it more commercially accessible. The problem is, I'm not a huge clubber, or a DJ, - and this may very well be apparent in the production of this track - so I haven't really got a benchmark of where this track should "go". For better or for wors...

I gotta ask how did you sample the vocals?

Other than that good take on the original, sweet bass. Glad you kept the popcorn sounds in there :D

Re: house + dubstep

Thanks for the really nice comments guys (and gals?)! :) DJVATERS - most of the sounds are automat (which is free and awesome) or absynth 4. All production done in Live 8 - I like the minimal vibe. mescalinebanana - yeh don't know much about the genre apart from WOB WOB WOB, so thought that would be...

Re: This track has stuff in it :-)

I noticed it's unmastered so I'll leave my comments at the door on that one, but I dig the tribal vibe (if you weren't intending that please take it as a compliment :p). And the little clicks and embellishments to the percussion are a nice touch, along with the panning. You clearly understand what y...

Re: would love some feedback

Having a listen now and enjoying the energy it has, so good work. One thing that immediately sticks out though is the initial kick drum is quieter than the snare - I think it would help to bring it up a little as it just seems a tad under powered in this particular mix. You've got some nice sound de...
