I remember them feeling amazing when I saw them in stores 10 years ago and the layout looks phenomenal!

If you can't find a better way... the cheapskate way is to throw a utility on the track set to -6db
and then you can slam your faders to the top without clipping everything..

I wanna use this for music

but I also want to use an Akai fire as a colour picker for my lighting software

aaaaaand use a fire controlling ableton to help step sequence some of my visual and lighting software

so damn keen.

ok, so I have a weird bug that sometimes occurs with the live set I use to control my keyboards in my band.
In my current set up, backing tracks are triggered by my band mates computer
we have live vocals, guitars, keys and various sample and fx stuff going on.

first off, i love this program.. but here's my few things..

(pretty sure all of these have been mentioned elsewhere.. but these are all things that personally affect me)

-Automation Quantize and Snap to grid - why is this not there?!! - using the draw tool to enter it and then ...

this is one of my main gripes with this program
(and most other sequencers ive used still seem pretty primitive with this too)

i like being able to have rhythmic automation..
using the draw tool does work, but it is a very clunky way of doing things.
