Re: Automate plugin parameters in arrangement view

It would really be nice if we could just pick a parameter in an arrangement view automation lane and automate it (with edits) :). This is exactly what you can do :), and it really works quite effortlessly once you get the hang of it. The only thing you need to do first is, choose the parameters you...

Re: Automate plugin parameters in arrangement view

Thx Nok ... Ill look into this today. Sure seems conveluted O.o. Whats also wierd is that I read (I think) all the automation sections of the manual and didnn't walk away understanding that this was required or even possible. Searchees on the internet also yielded nothing like your explanation above...

Re: Automate plugin parameters in arrangement view

Now maybe I'm missing something but ... I looked and looked and everything I found says (for now at least) clip is all we get. (not talking mixer automations etc.) We get everything into Arrangement too. It's just that for some unknown reason, you have to work to actually see it in Arrangement and ...

Re: Automate plugin parameters in arrangement view

Title :) Dan That's too vague though. Please spell it out. It's not as if automation recording to Arrangement isn't possible. You mean something specific, so please describe it so others can understand it fully. Well maybe I'm mistaken .... but even recording a modwheel (arguably one of the simpler...

Re: Glad to join this great community.

"Success is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration". If you are going to quote stats and figures we need to see graphs and charts to confirm these findings. My perspiration rate seems a lot less than 90% and it is 39 deg C here today. Perhaps i'm too successful? :P I dont think its a "rate" I think i...

Re: Newbie - Copying Automation moves

If u select a region of the automation (click-drag) with the mouse (it will turn yellow). Then hit Ctrl-C. Select a line in the new track on an automation lane where you want that section to go. Then hit Ctrl-V.

I just tried it to make sure.

EDIT: hehe someone beat me too it but same answer so :)

Re: Glad to join this great community.

Welcome :). On the second post .... we can be way to hard on our selves. I have felt the same way. Years later I go back and listen to old stuff and realize that I had made some pretty cool stuff. When were working on something we hear it over and over again. This constant repetition tends to dull o...

but roght now I would take advantage of the discount and upgrade to suite 8, get also suite 9 and be done with Operator and Analog for a while.

Then later you will evaluate what type of synth you need next.
I second the live 8 and 9 plan :)
