Hey! Anyone got any update fixes for this GUI lag issue? I noticed this when Live 10 first came out and jumped ship back to Live 9 (which not no issues at all - its amazing). Now back to 10 because I thought it must be fixed now, but OMG it's still lagging!! Oh well, will do this project then back ...

Yes I understand exactly what you are experiencing- super frustrating when trying to edit midi and audio (esp when you have such a speedy setup!).

Clicking off 'delay compensation' (in options) did fix sync of the audio/visual playback for me (I'm not sure why) in Live 10.

Thanks, yes will do! Interesting that just loading them can lead to the compensation- makes sense.

I'm surprised Live 9 seems to deal with Ozone OK on this 'High Sierra' Setup.

I did notice Izotope Ozone 7 was one of the potentially 'problematic' plugins in my Live 10 projects so I turned it off (funnily enough Ozone 5 was fine)

I also found that if I had any Waves C3 compressor VST turned on ...

Hi, Interesting post- I have this problem too - Did you get a fix? I'm using Ableton 10 running on new 10 core iMacPro, 64Gb RAM and built-in soundcard with latest version of High Sierra. Ableton 9 with same setup (and using same project) works perfectly and doesn't have this playback latency.

Hi, I'm finding 'unusual' and rather annoying latency/delayed sound playback problems too in Ableton 10. Even when all of my plugs in are turned off.

And found that unticking the 'Delay Compensation' corrected it as well.

Any downsides of this? (Intrigued by Stromkraft's reply!).

Thanks for the replies. djgroovy thanks for the advice and way to get around the problem. Now I've got it up and working and it sounds great! I'll check out your groovepacks website too...looks full of goodies and good advice

I would love to use Antares Harmony EFX with Live 8 but there is currently no support for multi-channel plug in output. Love the rest of Live 8 though and hope I can use Harmony EFX with it soon...
