Re: Bus for resampling?

Was able to make a quick video....any ideas would be appreciated. I'll probably send it along to support as well.

Bus for resampling?

I have a track set up in my Live set for resampling, but it's limited to resampling either 1) a single track *or* 2) the 'Resampling' option in track routing which gives you basically the Master output. I'm looking for a way to send a submix of any set of tracks to the Resampling track. At first, I ...

Re: Drum rack send is double triggering notes?

Actually, yes, I did. Here's the email from Support that solved the issue. Good luck! ******** Daniel (Ableton AG) Jul 21, 00:43 CEST Hey Matthew, Thanks for reaching out. I wasn't able to reproduce the issue on my machine, so it's possible that this issue may be caused by Live's MIDI Preferences on...

Clips default to opening in automation view?

Do clips default to opening in automation view? I feel like every time I open clip view from my Push II, APC, etc, the clip defaults to automation view, which I almost never want (usually trying to edit notes/velocity etc). Is this behavior changeable?

I will never understand why these things aren't more popular.

LaunchControl XL button LED question

Ran into a odd situation the other night, wondering what is going on. I have an Arpegiator grouped to an Effect rack (just for ease of use with APC40 macro section). The Arp's hold function is mapped to a macro knob. That knob is then mapped to a LaunchControlXL button. I press the button when I wan...

Slice clip to drum rack from Push II?

SSIA - is that possible? I think you can go from Clip>Simpler>Drum Rack, but can you skip the Simpler step?

Re: Where are all the 8x endless rotaries controllers?

I'd love a "Twist" from Ableton themselves, with just the screen, eight encoders and some function buttons from Push Preach. When I daydream about this, I imagine them sized to have 3 or 4 units fit horizontally into a rack. Bonus points if they are daisy chain-able so you could run a few of them o...

Following thread. I'm all for it. I currently use both an APC mkII and a Push, and often wish there was some sort hybrid. Would be nice to ditch one or the other.

ClyphX Pro Bindings allows you to set up Universal Mapping for a MIDI Controller without a Control surface Script. https://isotonikstudios.com/product/clyphx-pro-bindings/ Needs ClyphX Pro V1.1.4 to start.... Cheers D that's great, but is there any free alternative? $0.02 - ClyphX is worth many, ma...

MIDI controller input question

My current set up uses both an Alesis ControlPad and an Akai MPD232 to control a single track containing the main drum rack in my set. I have various other controllers, but I only wanted this track to accept input from these two controllers. I achieved this by setting the input of the track to MIDI ...

Re: Floor-based MIDI controller for Live?

I like the Line 6 FBV controllers. The mkII Express (~$99) has 4 switches & an expression pedal with two functions. The Shortboard mkII (~$200) has 13 switches & an expression pedal with two functions. All can be set to send any note/cc you want from each pedal. I own both & they work flawlessly wit...

Re: Empty clip slots lit up when track is manually record armed

when you just select the track with your push (the instrument on that track is still playable in that state!) you don't have that "red line" of clips... Sometimes yes, sometimes no, and I'm not sure yet what's driving it. For instance, what you describe works fine for a drum rack. It also works rea...
