Okay I am having your exact experience with Absynth and Battery! Did you ever discover a work around?

@ Simpleton - I have completely terminated all securities on the user accounts on my Win 7 system. This did seem to help many of my plugins to finally appear in my VST folder.

@ Theys - I did the same process with all of my T-Racks plugs and so far so good.

@ Simpleton - You can install Live as administrator by uninstalling your current version and then reinstalling by right clicking on the installer icon and selecting "run as administrator". Just wanted to say that I am now having success with the IK plugs after reinstalling Ableton and IK plugs as administrator and then running Ableton as administrator.

Awwwwwww.... Well, I feel a little better just having someone else validate my experience. Strangely though, I am able to use my T-Racks plugins flawlessly on my laptop with Live 8.1.4. Haven't tried T-Racks on the big machine yet.
