There was cool little tip in a video – I think it was Tom Cosm, but can't remember which of his vids – where he sort of cheated with this by putting an EQ8 on the percussion, turning the gain on one of the EQs right up, turning the Q right up, and then sweeping the frequency until you find a sweet s...

There's probably a number of ways you can achieve a similar effect, depending on what specifically youre trying to achieve, but a good place to start is with the arpeggiator – take the "Rate" control off sync and then slide it up and down to speed up/slow down the triggering of the note.

So, onto their latest tutorial http://nextstepaudio.com/ on FM synthesis 101 (cont), is there any way you can get any of the carriers in Operator to feed back on itself, like Brian does with the Logic FM synth?

From your audio effects folder you can add either an EQ Eight or EQ Three to the track, just drag and drop
