Hi folks.

Found recently little thing that seems strange cause CPU eating.
But I'll warn right away - I not exactly good in Live knowledges, since it's still my second DAW. So, perhaps this CPU impact not strange at all (?).

Just recently bought Spectrum Effects 2, and info in this pack specify to already dead links to pdf manuals at AN official page, so would be good to get this pdf's. Maybe someone had time to grab them ?

Live does scan plugs long time (speak about vst3 at least). Just for note - It's not recently observation, seems i remember this behavior since start to v12 using.

Decided rollback to 11.0.12 again yet, and no probs here, Corpus works at 1024 just fine.

Corpus stops producing sound when the buffer size is set to a high value (greater than 1024). This is a known issue that is fixed in the current 11.2 beta.
In Live 11.1 5 the only thing you can do is lower the buffer size.

Just recently install Live from scratch (v11.1.5), and found strange issue with Corpus - he works only till sound is active at track (and exactly if we put it to already playing track). But it stopped works after press stop in transport and press play again.

It can also look like this if you work a little longer with Ableton on the computer. Unfortunately, the options for the setup configuration are not really used. Looks terrible but shouldn't really be a problem you just have the date to sort what's current and what can then go.

Haven't we all submitted a feature request for being able to add as many folder locations as we want in the Plug-Ins Settings panel? I think I've requested this feature like 5 years ago and I've seen may others request this feature. Why is this so difficult to implement?


Well, in principle that ...

It would annoy the crap out of me if my VST2 plugins were scattered all over the place in multiple folders. I always install VST2 plugins in the same folder on an external SSD. It only takes a little work to keep things organized, but it can save you a lot of headache.

I see it as intended because the drop of support for shortcuts was mentioned months ago in the beta forum, yet Ableton released the update without fixing it.
Maybe Ableton sees it as a bug and will fix this in an update, but that's too late for such an important feature.
