Re: Set loop position 1.1.1 to position of clip start marker.

Well, I don't really see what difference this makes visually. You get minus values before the start marker which is just as confusing.

What I do now is that I duplicate the loop. Halve the loop brace so it is it's original length. Then move the brace to the section I want, with the 1.1.1 of the ...

Re: Screenshots of Live 9

I'm guessing the big white mixer they're showing off implies some sort of console emulation..?

Melodyne partnership

I would love to see melodyne completely integrated in live. It's pretty much the only VST I use. Live needs a good pitch tool anyway, so why not get the best there is.

Freeze/flatten drum rack cell

I think it would be super handy if there was a right click option to flatten a drum cell to a simpler/sampler.

Set loop position 1.1.1 to position of clip start marker.

I love playing around with the start marker in session view to make things fit together in new ways. But I think it's usually easier to make further edits when the grid lines up with the beat. Instead of changing this manually, puting the clip into arangement view -> adjusting -> moving back to ...

Operator Unfold

I wish Operator, and the other synths, could be unfolded to show all parameters in one window. It could look something like when you expand the spectrum analyzer!

Re: THE NEW BIG USER REQUESTS TOPIC FOR LIVE9!!!!

I would like to see a general modulation matrix, that could be accessible in the same way as the midi and key mapping or macro knob screens. From here you could pick a source, say an operator LFO or oscillator, and assign this to modulate something in analog, a different operator, a fader, or any ...

Re: THE NEW BIG USER REQUESTS TOPIC FOR LIVE9!!!!

I saw somone write about getting parallel MIDI note editors for different instruments to ease the task of harmonizing.

This is also really good for drum notation and editing. We need multiple MIDI velocity editors available, in parallel, one lane for each drum. I think this is pretty standard in a ...

Re: THE NEW BIG USER REQUESTS TOPIC FOR LIVE9!!!!

Grooves should be able to process incoming notes in real time. It would be good if you could select a groove for the channel in the input/output section or something, not just individual clips.

The midi arpeggiator should be able to select a groove as a pattern for rhythm, velocity, note length ...

Make aftertouch modulate arpegiators velocity output

like the note repeat on akai devices, where the notes play softer or harder depending on the pressure you're applying to the pads you're holding down. nice for dynamic drumrolls and chord triggering etc

maybe it would also be nice to have this option for the clip triggering mode 'repeat'.
