I say if it isn't working for you ... Don't buy it. Simple. If there are better tools use those.
Yes, sure, you are right, that's what I wanted to say with my post :), and what I am doing. But don't misunderstand me: I love Live for being able to record ideas fast and it ...

Another version, another payment, and no old faults resolved?
So,
Live 6 will arrive soon, and it seems that Live will go more into the direction of becoming a DAW. That's been discussed already - but, hey, I don't get it - why do I have to pay 100 Euros again for getting features that have been long awaited and I hoped to see in Live 5.

Time Lag Arranging Clips
Hello,
I experience an amazing time lag when I want to move clips in the arrangement view. When I pick a clip with the mouse I have to wait several seconds until the clip is picked and can be moved. This is true for bigger projects when there a more clips, when there are just a few clips (~10) it's ...

Thanks for the hint. But it is still not working. When I set the track delay on the specific midi channel to a positive value the synced drum machine is in time (also when recording) but the midi synth is recorded even later - what it is supposed to do. So this part of the track works somehow. But ...

ähh,different CPU-Usage? Better rewire?
Hello Guys,
I read some posts about the higher CPU-Usage of Live in in contrast to other sequencers. But I can't believe it - maybe there is another solution to my problem:
I have a song with about 18 audio tracks and 10 midi tracks. There are 6 Insert-Fxs on just three tracks and one FX-Return ...

Rewire Mono channels
Hello!
Yesterday I tried for the first time to rewire Live with Cubase. Everything works fine - except that I did not find any possibility to route mono channels from Live to Cubase. How can I do this? I use Cubase SX1.X and Live5.0.2. For me rewire is useless when I can't route things like a kick ...

Midi Latency + Recording
Hello,
I have serious latency problems when I am recording my external synth which I controlled via a midi track from live. How can I change this or is this due to my midi dirvers?
I have set up the overall latency, and it works now correctly. When i am recording my external drum machines, which ...
