Time Lag Arranging Clips

Hello,

I experience an amazing time lag when I want to move clips in the arrangement view. When I pick a clip with the mouse I have to wait several seconds until the clip is picked and can be moved. This is true for bigger projects when there a more clips, when there are just a few clips (~10) it's alright.

Is this a bug, or a problem, or is it a normal behaviour with bigger projects?
It's really annoying...for mixing and arranging I realy have to export all the audio and midi clips to SX - because it is much more comfortable when you see at once what you are moving, and to which you move objects!

Any ideas how to fix the problem?

I already moved from Live5.0.2 to 5.2 - but nothing changed.

sure they do - there are some big threads on this topic.

my #1 suggestion would be to keep all the tracks folded up so that the waveforms are not displayed on the clips. i find that really speeds things up a lot

Unfortunately its normal with bigger projects! Wait for Live 6, the problem should be cured then (we all hope).
