Re: 'unAbleto live' Looper/support still useless a year later!

: anonymous Internet rage always gets a  Thing of it is Angstrom, that's NOT the reaction that most of the frustrated license holders have that I have communicated with personally, and sadly, it's certainly not the reaction that most new prospective Ableton customers will have after doing a bi...

Re: 'unAbleto live' Looper/support still useless a year later!

Too funny! Almost as funny as Ableton being considered a legitimate live performance tool. Almost as funny as Ableton NEEDING me to test their (of that's right, it was me that was dumb enough to get involved to begin with, doh!)product I'm sorry that you're so frustrated with Live. However, we can'...

Re: 'unAbleto live' Looper/support still useless a year later!

Right now, somewhere in out the darkest reaches of the complainiverse, 3phase is kicking himself he didn't think of "unstableton". zee verkawound - as you have no licenses on your forum account, I can't see whether you've reported anything to us in the past. We'd like to help you sort out any issue...

Re: 'unAbleto live' Looper/support still useless a year later!

"UnstABLETON" is what I call them. Crashed on me last night just trying to automate Operator in the simplest and most straight forward of ways. I don't give a damn what ANY of the fan boys and girls state to be the case, Live is definitely NOT stable enough to do anything serious "live performance" ...

Re: Ableton Live 8.2.2 freeze and crash

When sending Crash Reports or Status Reports, attach it to an email and include information about the issue you are experiencing/what you were doing in Live at the time. If Ableton Support does not have this information, the reports are received as a general reference - sending a message along with...

Re: SOUND ENGINE BUGS ???

If you guys want Live to become better, there is a very simple thing you can do: Find cases that can be reproduced and report those cases here or send a mail to bugs@ableton.com Then there is a chance that they can be fixed quickly. This is a complete fallacy. It's pretty obvious that this IS the d...

Re: VERY frustrated DJ/Producer.

Bullshit. You are making excuses for your own failures . I degrade nothing. In fact, the ONLY result is enrichment. The best thing that can happen to anyone is to learn to work inside boxes. Its only then that you can dream clearly. More absolute unsubstantiated BS from YOU. You are not even aware ...

Re: VERY frustrated DJ/Producer.

Every reply that you have made here is based on your inability to comprehend what I have stated. This is nothing new to you as you have always been quick to respond but slow to comprehend. Let me ask you a question. when is the last time your personal annual income depended on making professional m...

Re: VERY frustrated DJ/Producer.

^ Why do you say that? Please explain! 1) Music as a "living", BAD IDEA!!! In fact, a STUPID idea that we have ALL had, and one that some continue to torture themselves with. There is not an industry outside the entertainment business that is more unreliable and inconsistent. That is, if you want t...

Re: VERY frustrated DJ/Producer.

This is an excellent thread with a TON of great advice! Of course there are also a bunch of total crap advice posts too, but that's normal on a "forum". This is coming from a guy that has been a very active musician for over 30 years now. Just some basic truth and it's VERY hard to swallow, but here...

Re: Features you would like to see in Ableton 9?

You know good and damn well it does not make one iota of difference what anyone wants in version whatever. It's interesting "talk", but if it's going to happen, it's going to happen and we won't have a thing to do with it. There are issues that people have been screaming about for 6 years now and th...

Re: Ableton with Windows 7 64-bit. Does it work with it?

It would be MUCH better if Live were 64bit period. The fact that Live will run on Windows 7 64bit is not the question to really ask. Is it stable when being pushed in excess of 2gigs of ram? That's the question to which I have never received a good answer. I don't doubt I will, but haven't yet. I ha...

Re: Are you using a 64bit OS? If so...

personally just moved to win7 64bit after having constant crashing on a track i was trying to finish when the ram usage in XP was up around 1.7-1.9gb used by live. haven't had a crash since (but haven't been putting in many hours since switching as i'm still setting up my win7 install/programs/etc)...
