I realize I'm using beta software with beta software but as FYI when attempting to authorize through IE8 RC1 the buttons did not render. I was able to workaround it through using Firefox 3.

i've gone through some nightmares with my fast track pro. the best ways to fix the issue (on windows xp)
1) sometimes you have to put the computer to sleep, turn the fast track pro off and then back on. then log back into windows and it will

Thanks for the trick, I was always manually dialing in the delay compensation which is a pain. I don't remember Ableton always working this way

I really like this thread and all of the data it produces. What do you all think about creating a Google Docs Spreadsheet to store this information in so that it can be compared more easily?

Just wondering if anyone on here could comment on how well Live 7 works with the Virus TI. I have an old Virus C and am interested in the time savings of the USB connection that the TI has but I am curious if it actually works well with Ableton.

I agree with all the complaints about no easy edit button for editing in external sample editor. Its way too many steps now. I would have assumed this would have been fixed in 6.0.3 since you all regressed functionality.

I use a multi-monitor setup while using ableton. I primarily work with Ableton on my left screen. When editing note positions I press CTRL+U to quantize the note position. Typically on Windows, applications when you resize the main application window and close the application it will be that same size when you restart the application. I believe this is how Ableton Live used to perform as well.

Any ideas why Ableton no longer remembers what size I make my window? Now ...
