My SR macbook pro seems to run fine and I do not use coolbook here. Live7.02 and leopard 10.5.2 with a motu ultralite.

One thing I have noticed is a something called syslogd that likes to take over my CPU. From what I can gather it might have to do with Leopard and still randomly happens with the ...

u have to activate the channels in live's preferences -> audio -> settings -> output config button. (do the same for recording -> input config)
