I am on several promo lists, and have recently been having issues with tracks from these companies not playing in Ableton... I'm running as admin etc, but still no luck (

A question born out my laziness I'm affraid... If I want to edit say 8 or 16 bars out of a warped track, and just cut a part out of a track in session view, can I do this with envelopes or something? Rather than dragging the track into arrangement view, cutting the part out, consolodating it then ...

I just bought Traktor Scratch pro with the Audio 8 soundcard... I was wanting a 4 channel soundcard and since Traktor is half price just now I thought getting the Audio 8 soundcard for £260 with Traktor wsn't a bad deal :D

I'm having some issues with 8.2.1 and its bugging me... Tracks that I've started in 8.1.5, the CPU was sitting happily at 20/30%, in 8.2.1 the same tracks are crackling and clipping with CPU useage hitting 100% and over. Anyone else having similar issues or have any ideas how to fix?
