Hey guys,
Wondering if there is more lag/delay from pressing note and having the note be heard/recorded in ableton when your midi-keyboard is plugged into to a USB hub (that is powered with AC Adaptor) rather than keyboard plugged straight into desktop?

You know in logic when you play a midi part, it will show you what Chord and/or Note is being played in the transport bar? I think cubase does this too in the midi-event editor.
How can display this information in Live? Thanks

I had so many troubles with 8 all the way till now.

I was recommended by support to download and use 8.1.3 b2
on my mac pro 1,1 snow leopard. Finally a version that works great!

I used to have high CPU usage on 8.1.1 on a live project with only

new to ableton but not new to daw's (cubase user for a long time).

I have been working on some tracks recently and one of them WILL NOT LOAD.

I double click the als in the finder, i see the project clips, hit play (or do anything else like try to goto File, or Edit or whatever) i get stuck ...

@hoveneverslackin: try to repair the library in the setting menu....

hey! thanks for helping out. It kind of did the trick but still had lots of crashing. So i just did a clean install (wanted to upgrade to snow leopard anyway). THAT did the trick in ...

now up to 72 crashes in one set.....this is royally making me mad...it will go no more than 2 minutes before its crashing again
