Update...Widi Uhost With Push 1...Potential Caveat For Push 3 Without Processor
It appears that Widi Uhost with Push 1 only works for midi but no screen updating...
It is likely that Push 3 without the processor will have the same problems as Push 1 with the screen updating.
Push 3 with with processor and Widi Jack works very well from all reports.

Re: Push 3 Standalone RTP MIDI
The Push 3 provides enough power from the 3.5mm Midi ports to power the 3.5mm CME Widi Jack. It really works perfect! what cables did you use to connect your push to the CME Widi Jack? i bought the CME branded 2.5 to 3.5 mm cables, and it doesnt seem to recognize ...

Re: Using Push 3 to record a vocal mic signal
... in 100s of hours But the idea could be applied to other 5v devices. The port will both power and send midi for dreadbox synths, for example. Widi hub? Maybe one day we’ll see usb mic compatibility.

Re: Push 3 Standalone RTP MIDI
Actually, thinking about this some more... the real thing that sucks about using Widi vs RTP... it's limited to 16 channels of MIDI. The MioXL can run 22 RTP connections. Each one is totally a separate set of MIDI ins and outs. I could use up to 352 (22 x 16) channels ...

Re: Push 3 Standalone RTP MIDI
For workaround purposes, the WIDI bluetooth dongles actually work better than people tend to expect. The WIDI Bud Pro should work with the Push 3 USB host port and will show up in the Push settings just like any wired USB MIDI device would. ...

Re: Using the Ipad as Midi Generator for Push3S - can't get the connection work
that's encouraging, elbows. I have a handful of these options now, and it's good to know that the widi jack isn't by definition going to necessarily need 5v through a separate cable. As for the push being able to utilize the Bud, my mind is not ready to let that sink in. ...

Re: Using the Ipad as Midi Generator for Push3S - can't get the connection work
How is push 3 powering the widi, or using Widi Master for that matter? Push uses 3.5mm midi ports, does it not? I thought that would rule out both output power as well as that particular device. Widi Jack would do the trick. The nifty ...

Re: Using the Ipad as Midi Generator for Push3S - can't get the connection work
Yes, you do need midi cables and a audio interface to connect the iPad to the Push 3. But it also can via Bluetooth. I bought the CME WiDi Jack and connect that to the midi in- and output of the Push (it's powered by the Push 3), and connect that way to my iPad. This way you can use AUM ...
