massive attack
they are my second favorite band, behind underworld. theire sound is amazing and so unique. They are just getting better too. I dont want to rag on their old stuff, because its great, but they have defnitely gone a long way since then. mezzanine was fantastic. and i dont know why everyone rags on 10...

enigma
hi i just downloaded enigma, thanks. i'll look over the manual and figure out how to assign the CC numbers to the controls i want. On the UC 33e, i can click on the bottom buttons, the faders, and the kobs, so I could theoretically change all controls for preset 1. but how can i change them for the ...

battery vs impulse
Hi, i have heard a lot about how good NIs battery is, but is it really necessary if you have Impulse? What does battery do better than impulse, and does it do anything that impulse can't?

MIDI assignment problems
Hi I am having trouble assigning some of my MIDI parameters to ableton live. I have a UC 33e and a radium 49. I was sucessfully able to assign all the faders on my UC 33e to volume faders (8 tracks and master), and i assigned all the knobs to hi mid and low on a EQ three of each track. but i find th...

parts of songs
getting back to the multi part files that could be easily manipulated... i dont think this would ever happen. think about what you would do with ten of those types of tracks. you could easily sample the best parts of each track (a perfect sample, mind you), and combine them to form one new song that...

power cable for a tr 909
i just bought a tr 909 earlier this year, and its great, but it came with this power cable that was actually cut to fit in the socket. Its pretty horrible, and i want to get one that actually fits correctly. does anyone who has a tr 909 know what kind of power cable i need? the socket is a little od...

64 bit
well from what i've read it seems that 64 bit operation allows you to access more ram more quickly, so for live, which loads up audio clips in ram, it would be really helpful. buat is a situation for the future when we can actually put in (or afford) more ram. some cards support 8, but mine only sup...

seagate
i cannot reccomend the seagate 400gb. maybe for non musical purposes, but i cant use mine with my laptop and live. it makes this awful high pitched whine (the disk spinning) whenever starting up or being used. I've tried everything i can think of and it is now relegated to just holding miscellaneous...

that information might help if i had a rack to mount it on. The shelf i am constructing is made of wood, so I'll need at least the width (from ear to ear) of the interface so make sure i make it big enough for it to fit.
