Solo a channel starts and ends at global quantize setting

Solo a channel starts and ends at global quantize setting. Click solo, it doesn't solo till the bar comes around. turn off solo, it doesn't turn of until bar comes around. Seems essential but I can't make it happen.
I can do it myself!

the solo quantize feature wish is 5 years old now, I'm sad that I missed its birthday. But still a good idea!
