Official live 7.0.17 fix requests thread

I know most of the concentration for Ableton is on the version 8 updates but IF and when 7.0.17 gets released I would like to see the following fixes implemented...

Fully 'Snow Leopard' compatible.
APC40 Track selection buttons also select the clip that is playing in the selected track as per 'track status' mapping (but works globally and not just on 8 tracks!).
'Select on launch' preference setting working via MIDI.

I'm sure there are more, many more, and I will add these as I find / remember them, would be nice for other people to add their most wanted FIXES for 7.0.17 to this thread so to serve as a checklist for the Abes

So nobody else has any little, but important, fixes they would like to see added to a final 7.0.17 release should Ableton be working on one?

I find that hard to believe... or have I managed to sum up the only 3 things that need a re-touch in Live 7? Also hard to believe...

it's always advisable to have bugs listed in their own threads - Abes can keep track of them that way

I'd say it's a given that 7 will end up being compatible with OS X.6

i'm using live 7 and warp using complex most of the time...i've wanted to upgrade to snow leopard since it came out but this is holding me back!

please release a fix ableton!

Yes the Abes seem to be very slow with any output relating to this issue, whether that be a physical release or any info regarding one! It's 2 months since SL was released and although Live 7 isn't the latest release, we still paid our money and want the fix(es)!! Zplane released a compatible version of 'elastique efficient' ages ago, the 'select on launch' has already been fixed in 8 so surely the fix will be identical (or near enough) in version 7!

Hi there,

I'm running Os X 10.6.2 on a MacBook and an Imac 21.5. The problem with complex warp mode seems to be fixed on both computers.
