Hello,
Is there a way I can route Battery into Ableton so that I can control the sends on individual hits?
Examples of what I am trying to do is to add reverb or delay to just the snare, or phasing to the hi-hats etc. If you haven't guessed I'm trying to make Dub Music.
Thanks in advance

What you'll need to do is duplicate the pad with the hit u want (eg snare) adn the output that to a separate track in Live with 100% wet effects (verb/delay etc) on it. So you have the 100% Clean original going to the output of Battery 3 and the 100% wet duplicate with Live's (or any other) effects on.

You can also create a new audio track and route the cell you want to a different Battery output (other than main 1-2). Then set the new track's monitor mode to In and choose the corresponding input from Battery outputs. Then u can use Live sends as u do with other audio tracks.
Hope helped.

But in doing so you omit the ability to use Batterys Compressor/Limiter/FX etc. Just depends how much/if you use them.0fps wrote:You can also create a new audio track and route the cell you want to a different Battery output (other than main 1-2).
